James 2:26

Just as a person’s body that does not have a spirit is dead, so faith that does nothing is dead.”
James 2:26
You gave m the gift and the desires to be a nurse-midwife. Help me to have the faith to follow You where ever You lead me to be a nurse-midwife; here in the U.S. or in Africa. I will follow Your will.  You’ve also given me a heart for Children, teens, and orphan’s. Help me to reach a new generation for You. Help me to put away the “what ifs” to follow you.

Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and future.”
Jeremiah 29:11
“I want to trust your plan for me God. I don’t want to do it my way anymore. I want to follow where You lead. I am at where I’m at now because of Your plan. Where I am now is part of Your plan; because I never thought I would be twenty four and still not be done with college. But even this has happened for a reason. I  am trusting Your plan for me to finish nursing school. I am also trusting Your plan and will for my future spouse and when he comes into my life, is Your timing. I trust You lord. You are my King and my Heavenly Father.”

We cannot do it on our own. We have to have help, and the best help comes from God and Jesus.

Camp

Today the middle school students and high school students at Church leave for camp. It’s a chance for them to grow closer to God without all the distractions of modern life. I pray also that those teens you don’t know Christ will be drawn to Him at camp. I guess you could say that I have a heart for teens. Part of the reason is because; it wasn’t that long ago since I was a teen, plus I became a Christian as teen at the end of my freshman year of high school. So I know how important that time away from it all at camp with other believers can be for your soul and your spiritual growth. So I pray for the youth and the workers that they have a good time that they stay safe. That it is also a time of growth and learning.
The news of them going to camp brought back all the good memories that I have from camp. I had a blast every time that I went. I enjoyed the fellowship and growth that happened, and now a new generantion gets a chance to experience that.

Fourth of July

Happy 235th Birthday United States. I am thankful to live in a country in which I am free to worship my God and Jesus Christ; the one true God.
Remember as you celebrate America's birthday with your family and friends with cook outs and fireworks,

remember the cost that it took to keep us free.
Only two people have ever offer to die for you: Jesus and the American Marine (Soldier).

One died to save your Soul to give you etenral life. The other to protect your earthly freedom to live  in a free Country.

God bless the Untied States, and may we return it to the Christian Nation that it started out as.
