Prayer Reguest

My mom has to have a surgical biopsy tomorrow at 7AM and would appreciate it if my followers who pray would pray for her, the doctor doing the surgery and  I as I am going to be the only one at the hospital with her.

May is Military Appreciation Month

Just stopping in to Say that May is Military Appreciation Month.  Not only does the Military service member rather in the Army, Air Force, Navy, or Marines need  the appreciation  but so does the family members left at home that allow them to do it. 

Time Flies

It's hard to believe, but my little sis is almost a senior. Yesterday she got her class ring, and had her first formal. Her Junior Ring dance. She wanted simple elegance with her hair and her dress which she got. The name I gave her style was 30's glam, cause to me that's what it was.  I'll post pictures as soon as they come back.

It seems like yesterday she was starting kindergarten, and now she is one year away from graduating high school. Where did the time go. She has grown into a wonderful young lady and I can not wait to see what the future holds.

Why I chose the Bible Verses for 2013 that I did

One of the Bible Verses that was a verse for the year for 2012 is making its way into 2013; 2 Peter 3:18 because just like last year I want to continue to grow in my relationship with Christ. I may even make it a life verse as well. I am using Psalms 119:105 because I want God’s word to lead me and light my path. Proverbs 31:30 was chosen because I want to be a woman after God’s own heart. I am also choosing Lamentations 3:24 I want to learn to wait on God’s timing more than I am now. God’s timing is always best and perfect. Way better than my timing could be. God only wants what’s best for His children me included.
